Product/Service Termination

This may occur for reasons such as repair or maintenance work, upgrades, updates, or any other justifiable cause. Additionally, GSM Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd may opt to terminate services or access to its sites immediately in the event of a breach of these Terms and Conditions by the user. Such breaches may include delayed or non-payment of sums due to GSM Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd or if the company ceases to offer the sites and services to its customers for any reason whatsoever.

Pricing

The listed prices for products on our website may not always reflect the latest price listed on the product itself. For items sold through the site, the actual price of an item cannot be confirmed until an order has been placed. Despite our best efforts, a small number of items in our catalog may be incorrectly priced. If an item’s actual price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, contact you for further instructions before delivering or canceling your order. You will be notified of any such cancellation.

To ensure accuracy, we request that all customers call and confirm the price/availability of the product before placing an order.

Unavailability of Product / Product Out of Stock

The inventory of all products advertised on GSM Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is not always in stock at the back end. If a customer orders an out-of-stock product by paying via a payment gateway or bank transfer, the customer acknowledges and agrees that the only remedy available for the unavailability of a product is the refund of the money paid.

When placing an order, you will receive an Order Confirmation E-mail acknowledging receipt of your order. However, this does not confirm the acceptance of your offer to buy the product(s) ordered. Your offer is only accepted when we have confirmed the product is in stock and ready to be delivered.

Product Descriptions/Images/Specifications

GSM Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd strives for accuracy in product descriptions, images, and specifications. However, the company does not warrant that product descriptions or other content related to any product/service is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product/service offered by GSM Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is not as described, customers may contact our customer support, and GSM Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, at its discretion, will provide a replacement/alternative product for the same value or offer a refund.

Limited Terms and Conditions
  1. The limited warranty for the cellular phone extends for the first twelve (12) months from the date of purchase, with an extension for another twelve (12) months covering all services within a total period of twenty-four (24) months.
  2. The limited warranty for accessories and battery packs extends for six (06) months from the date of purchase.
  3. The limited warranty extends only to the original consumer/purchaser of the product and is not assignable or transferable to any subsequent purchaser/end user.
  4. During the limited warranty period, GSM Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd will repair any defective product or parts thereof with new or factory rebuilt replacement items, and return the product to the consumer in working condition. No charge will be made to the consumer for either parts or labor in repairing the product. The external housing and other external items are not covered under these limited warranty terms.
  5. Repaired products will be warranted for the balance of the original warranty period only.
  6. Upon request from GSM Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, the consumer must provide a purchase receipt & warranty card to prove the date of consumer.
  7. Delivery and handling charges incurred in the product to and from GSM Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd will be borne by the consumer.
  8. The consumer will have no coverage or benefits under this limited warranty if any of the following conditions are applicable:
    • The product has been subject to abnormal use, abnormal condition, improper storage, exposure to moisture or dampness, exposure to excessive temperature or other environmental conditions, unauthorized modifications, unauthorized connections, unauthorized repair, misuse, neglect, abuse, accident, alteration, improper installation, Acts of God, spill of foods or liquids, mal adjustments of customer controls, or other acts beyond the reasonable control of GSM Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.
    • GSM Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd was not notified by the consumer of the alleged defects or malfunctions of the product during the applicable limited warranty period.
    • The product number of the accessory date code and original identification stickers have been removed, defectively altered, or altered.
    • If the unit is infected with viruses.
    • The defect or damage was caused by the defective function of the cellular system or by inadequate signal deception by the external antenna.
    • The product was used with or connected to accessories not supplied by GSM Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.
    • The battery was circuited or seals of the battery enclosure or cells are broken, show evidence of tampering, or the battery was used in equipment other than for which it has been specified.
  9. If a problem develops during or after the limited warranty period, the consumer should follow this step-by-step procedure:
    • Inform and return the product to GSM Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, the place of purchase, for repair processing.
    • Arrange for the product to be delivered to GSM Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd; expenses related to removing the product from and installation are not covered under this limited warranty.
    • The consumer will be billed for any parts or labor charges not covered by this limited warranty. The consumer shall be responsible for expenses related to the reinstallation of the product.
    • In case of certain operator-specific features in the product such as SIM lock, PUK lock, GSM Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd reserves the right to refer the consumer to the relevant cellular operator before service will be provided.
    • If the product is returned to GSM Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd after the expiration of the warranty period, GSM Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd’s normal service policies shall apply, and the consumer will be charged accordingly.
  10. GSM Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd will not be responsible for any losses of data stored on units that have been processed for repair.
  11. GSM Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd neither assumes nor authorizes any service center, person, or entity to assume any other obligation or liability beyond that provided in this limited warranty.
  12. All warranty information, product features, and specifications are subject to change without notice.
  13. Claims for warranty must be made within 14 working days.
  14. No warranty for water or drop damages.
  15. Warranty does not cover improper version updates and installations by the customer.
  16. For all Apple devices, the first year comes with an Apple international warranty, and the second year comes with service warranty.

Amendments and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, update, or terminate these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for any changes.
